History of 13th Street House

13th Street House for Women has offered residency for a total of seventy-two (72) women in our almost five (5) year period of operation. Of that seventy-two (72) women, two (2) have graduated from Cape Fear Community College.

About 13th Street House

Barbara Evans is the founder, Administrator, and owner of the first house of Thirteenth Street House For Women, Inc. As a Revered, Chaplain, and a child of God she was given a vision by God through Isaiah 61;
